Amersham has seen many changes from being a Rotten Borough, and market town, to a well-to-do part of commuter land celebrated by John Betjeman's Metroland. Victorian Amersham was shaped through the influence of the Drake family and later had a new beginning with the coming of the railway. Buckinghamshire Family History Society welcomes a return of speaker Julian Hunt.
